Plain-language summary
Use 4ul.ink for lawful links and campaigns, keep your account secure, and never use the service for phishing, malware, spam or deception. Features and limits depend on your plan. Automated safety checks and human review may disable unsafe content. Paid subscriptions renew until canceled through the available billing portal. The complete terms below control if this summary conflicts with them.
1. Agreement
These Terms govern access to and use of 4ul.ink, including short links, QR codes, bio pages, campaigns, analytics, custom domains, APIs and related services. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you may accept these Terms for it.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- You must have legal capacity to enter into this agreement. The service is not directed to children.
- Provide accurate account information and maintain access to your email address.
- Keep passwords, recovery codes and API tokens confidential. You are responsible for activity performed through your credentials.
- Notify us promptly at info@4ul.ink if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Do not create accounts to evade a suspension, publishing limit or safety restriction.
3. Service, aliases and plans
Available features, quotas, retention periods and custom-domain limits depend on the active plan and server configuration. A short alias or campaign slug is a revocable service identifier, not property or a registered right. We may reserve, reject or reclaim identifiers where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, impersonation prevention, trademarks or reliable operation.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the service, directly or indirectly, to create, promote, conceal or distribute:
- phishing, credential harvesting, impersonation, fraud or deceptive redirects;
- malware, exploits, unwanted software, malicious downloads or instructions intended to compromise systems;
- spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, abusive affiliate traffic or artificial engagement;
- child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation, trafficking, credible threats or other unlawful content;
- content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other legal rights;
- doxxing, harassment, discriminatory abuse or attempts to expose sensitive personal information;
- redirect chains or obfuscation intended to evade scanners, blocklists, reports or enforcement;
- unauthorized tracking, surveillance or advertising pixels used without required notice or consent;
- automated activity that bypasses rate limits, probes the service, disrupts operation or burdens infrastructure; or
- custom domains, names, branding or destinations you do not have authority to use.
Do not attempt to access another account, reverse engineer security controls, introduce harmful code, scrape private areas or use the service in violation of applicable law.
5. Your content and destinations
You remain responsible for destination URLs, aliases, campaign text, bio-page content, uploaded logos and other material you provide. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions required to publish and process that material. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, reproduce, route, scan and display it only as necessary to operate, secure and improve the service.
We do not endorse or verify every destination. A shortened URL does not make the destination trustworthy, lawful or affiliated with 4ul.ink.
6. Safety checks and content moderation
We use automated and manual measures to enforce these Terms. Automated measures may evaluate URL structure, hostname and DNS safety, blocked-domain matches, account age and publishing rates, user reports, redirect-time validation and scheduled rescans. These systems can make mistakes.
Depending on severity and confidence, we may reject publication, warn the account holder, disable a destination, quarantine a link, remove public content, limit features, suspend an account or preserve relevant records. Urgent action may occur without advance notice where necessary to protect users, the service or third parties. Where practicable, disputed or uncertain cases may receive human review.
7. Reports, decisions and appeals
Anyone may report a specific unsafe or unlawful short link through the abuse form. A useful report identifies the exact short URL and explains the suspected violation. We may request more information and may share information where legally required or reasonably necessary to investigate a report.
If your content or account is restricted and you believe the decision is wrong, email info@4ul.ink with the affected URL, your account email and the reason for your appeal. Appeals are reviewed in good faith, but access may remain restricted while safety or legal concerns are investigated.
8. Analytics, pixels and privacy
Analytics are estimates and may be incomplete because of bots, privacy tools, network failures, filtering or retention limits. Raw visitor IP addresses are not retained for ordinary analytics; rotating one-way identifiers may be used for counting and abuse controls as described in the Privacy Policy.
If you enable tracking parameters, conversion measurement or third-party pixels, you are responsible for providing required notices, obtaining consent and complying with privacy, advertising and electronic-communications laws.
9. Custom domains
You may connect only a domain you control or are authorized to manage. You are responsible for registration, renewal, DNS accuracy and third-party domain-provider fees. Automated certificate provisioning is provided on a best-effort basis and may fail because of DNS, certificate-authority limits or external outages. We may disconnect domains that fail verification, expire, create security risk or violate these Terms.
10. API and webhooks
API access and outbound webhooks are subject to plan limits, authentication, rate limits and security controls. Protect API tokens and webhook secrets, verify signatures, and design integrations to handle retries and duplicate events. We do not guarantee that every webhook will arrive once or immediately.
11. Paid plans, renewal and cancellation
Price, currency, billing interval and included limits are shown before checkout. When recurring billing is enabled, a subscription renews and the payment provider charges the selected method until cancellation. Card details are collected by the hosted payment provider rather than this application.
- Stripe subscriptions can be changed or canceled through the billing portal made available in your account.
- Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period unless checkout, the provider or applicable law states otherwise.
- Failed or reversed payments may pause or end paid access and return the account to available free limits.
- Bank-transfer access begins only after manual approval and follows the period shown in the approved request.
- Refunds, withdrawal rights and taxes are handled as required by applicable law and the terms displayed at purchase.
Deleting links or ceasing to use the service does not by itself cancel a recurring subscription. Use the billing portal or contact us if the portal is unavailable.
12. Suspension, termination and account closure
You may stop using the service at any time and may request account closure by contacting us. We may restrict or terminate access for a material or repeated violation, unlawful activity, security risk, non-payment, evasion of enforcement or a valid legal requirement. Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.
Closure can disable public links, custom domains, bio pages, API tokens and webhooks. Some records may remain for security, billing, dispute resolution, backups or legal compliance, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
13. Intellectual property
The service software, interface, branding and documentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for rights expressly provided by the service, these Terms do not transfer ownership. Feedback may be used to improve the service without an obligation to compensate you.
14. Third-party services and destinations
The service may interact with registrars, certificate authorities, email providers, payment processors and websites selected by users. Their terms and privacy practices apply separately. We are not responsible for third-party destinations, content, outages or transactions merely because a link routes through 4ul.ink.
15. Availability and service changes
The service is provided on a best-effort basis without a guaranteed uptime commitment unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Maintenance, abuse response, security incidents and third-party failures may interrupt links or features. We may add, change or discontinue features and plan limits. We will use reasonable means to communicate material changes that significantly affect active paid use.
16. Warranties and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or uninterrupted operation. We do not guarantee traffic, conversions, search visibility, deliverability, destination safety or business results.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 4ul.ink and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, or for lost profits, data, goodwill or business opportunity. Aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
17. Applicable law and mandatory rights
These Terms are governed by the law applicable to the service operator, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their place of residence. Courts or dispute-resolution bodies with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer, privacy or statutory rights.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms to reflect service, security, legal or operational changes. The effective date will be updated, and material changes may be announced through the service or by email. Continued use after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
19. Contact
Questions, account-closure requests, billing issues, moderation appeals and legal notices can be sent to info@4ul.ink. Unsafe links should be submitted through the abuse-reporting page whenever possible.
